Cheeseballs

    I work for a grocery store an part of my job is to make cheese balls. Recently I have noticed that they have little pink/red specks all over them, even before they go out of date. We keep them in a cold case and have never had this problem before. There is nothing in the cheese balls that would be causing the color change. What would be causing the cream cheese to do this?
