We recently moved to Southern Mozambique where amongst other livestock we’ve recently acquired a herd of Dairy Goats. Toggenburgs and British Alpines. Milking twice daily and have now started making cheese in earnest with varying degrees of success, but it’s getting better.

I’ve carved into a hillside here to create an underground cheese cave. In 2 weeks I put the soil back over the slab and plant. Thinking it’s going to work great, stable cool temperature year-round. The milking parlour and dairy processing areas are nearing completion too, and then my Missus can have the kitchen back 🙂
