Have a quick question… has anyone used frozen raw cow’s milk for making Mozz? I have (finally) found a supplier but she freezes the fresh milk the same day its milked. I haven’t found anything online about freezing and thawing frozen milk for making fresh cheese. Any help greatly appreciated!
Christopher, I get plenty of goat’s milk that has been frozen and have had no issues. I know cow milk has a much larger butter fat glob but I don’t know if freezing it does any damage. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
