I haphazardly stubbled into the dairy making world while sailing our catamaran through the Bahama/Caribbean islands. Could not find yogurt or sour cream very easily and when you did —phew was it expensive. I came across an old galley cookbook with a recipe for Yogurt made in an old thermos with powder milk and a cheesemaker was born. I am back on land in our comfortable lake house experimenting with long lost traditions of cheesemaking. Nice to meet you all:-)
