ParticipantI would like to know what i can use for draining mats, i have many different sized containers so i need something i can cut to fit, most of my cheese is put into containers for aging.

KeymasterHi Candy
I use a couple of things as draining mats. I started out using bamboo sushi mats/rollers, and then I also bought some food grade plastic mesh that I could cut to size. The food grade mesh was easier to get clean and as I say, could be cut to size, while the bamboo mats were easier to come across and were cheap enough to use and throw out if they got too yucky.

Guestwas looking around for another topic when I came across this thread. Have seen these for a while now and wonder how they would do. Cut to fit for your container – could be sterilized completely….
If anyone had tried them – I would be interested in knowing your thoughts/ comments
