Hello – wanted to know if anyone had suggestions for a food storage container for cheese maturation. Best I can tell there needs to be three considerations:
1)the container would need to have a pretty good seal if it were to be maturing a cheese with any kind of a mold culture.
2) There needs to be some sort of insert (purchased separately) to lift the cheese off of the bottom of the container.
3) Economic solution.

Hey there, Decor have a couple available. I use one that was for meat storage (it’s called the decor tellfresh smart modular system near storer and is 4lt) They have the tray in the bottom of them and I bought it from my local IGA for $16.00. I also know that some people use a 2.4 litre decor one (the red ones with the vent in the lid) they also come with the tray in the bottom and you can get them from most supermarkets.
