washing the cheese

    I would like to try a few recipes where you “wash” the cheese, adding water to the curds. When doing this, can I use tap water with clorine or do I need to use bottled water?

    I am no expert but doubt that chlorine will do any good for your finished product. I understand that it will disappear over time but most likely will leave a taste and inhibit natural aging process.
