Pink mold on cheddar

    Hey, Im new to cheese making and have only had two goes at it both cheddar (foolishly skipping fetas and other starter cheeses). Anyway, whilst drying this second attempt (the first one is aging away and looks good so far) I noticed pink (quite light) and dark yellow spots developing on the surface. I have rubbed them off with a vinegar and cheese salt solution and I waxed the cheese (though it was probably a couple days before I would have liked to) as I thought the high temp of the wax might help but before I waste time aging this cheese to later be dissapointed, do I need to ditch this cheese or should it all be sweet?
